Terms & Conditions

Services Provided

Royal Toronto Movers offers moving, packing, storage, and related services. The scope of our services will be outlined in the Service Agreement provided to you. Any additional services or changes to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional charges.

Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To book our services, you must provide accurate information about your move, including dates, locations, and item descriptions. A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Payment: Full payment for services is due upon completion of the move, unless otherwise agreed. We accept various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers. Additional fees may apply for late payments.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your new date but cannot guarantee availability.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate information about the items being moved and any special handling requirements.
  • Preparation: Ensure that all items are properly packed and ready for transport. We are not liable for damages to items not packed by our team or items that are improperly prepared.
  • Access: Ensure that there is clear access to both the pickup and delivery locations. Any obstacles or restrictions must be communicated to us in advance.

Liability and Insurance

  • Liability: Royal Toronto Movers is liable for damage to items caused by our negligence during the moving process. However, we are not liable for damages to items not packed by our team or for pre-existing damage.
  • Insurance: Basic insurance coverage is included with our services. Additional insurance options are available for higher value items and can be discussed with our team prior to the move.

Storage Terms

  • Access: You will be provided with access to your storage unit during business hours. Prior notice may be required for access outside of these hours.
  • Security: We employ security measures to protect your belongings. However, we are not liable for loss or damage due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters.
  • Payment: Storage fees are due on a monthly basis. Failure to make timely payments may result in the termination of the storage agreement and the removal of items from the unit.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or our services will be handled through negotiation in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through arbitration in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Changes to Terms

Royal Toronto Movers reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
